Water Proofing Resins
REPEL ZERO is our Zero Detectable Formaldehyde Water Proofing Resin. It offers the highest quality of any corrugating resin on the market. REPEL ZERO blends easily through mixers or dosing units. It has little effect on gel temperatures or viscosity. Economical to use, comes red or clear and can be delivered in drums, totes or bulk.
REPEL PERFORMANCE is our newest technology when it comes to waterproofing and added performance. It has Zero Detectable Formaldehyde with little or no effect to the starch. It offers an excellent cross linking mechanism to coat the paper fiber, starch and polymers. This product is being used successfully for 100% recycled papers. This product is used at ¾ of a % for MRA and 1.5% for WPA. This is the most cost effective product to add performance and water resistance to your board on the market. Plants have added over 100 fpm. This product comes in drums, totes and bulk. It comes red or clear.
Starch Additives
ALLY Formaldehyde Free starch enhancer. This product is used around the world to improve corrugating performance. Our product ALLY uses the highest percent of pure polymers offered to the corrugating industries. Because of our higher solids our customers use considerably less (approx. 25%) than the competitor’s products.
ALLY-HP is our Zero Detectable Formaldehyde keytone waterproof resins blended with our high performance bonding activation polymers. Our product has been duplicated by many competitors most only cut the solids. We keep the highest solids offered but many times are .40 cents less per pound. We have added more than 75 fpm, while giving MRA or WPA with a convenient one piece product. Better filming and consumption. It’s offered in clear or red.
FLUTE LOCK bond enhancer is our newest product. It was designed by polymer chemists to do several very important aspects of the starch mechanism. 1. It allows the formula to be run at 22% - 24%. 2. Adds tremendous filming ability reducing starch consumption up to 25%. 3. Lowers the amount of BTU’s needed to bond the board, reducing energy costs. 4. Adds a cohesive bond to the board requiring less penetration for bonding harder recycled paper. 5. Enhances the adhesive properties of the starch function. This product adds another polymer that when combined with our REPEL ZERO waterproofing resin adds an additional cross liking opportunity to the combined board.
Carrier Starch
SPECIALTY 3000 is one oldest (40 years) and proven modified carrier starches in the market. Normal usage is 125# per 300 gallon batch. SPECIALTY 3000 give better filming than plain pearl starch due to the fact that you can cook more modified starch than pearl.
